Mozilla Launches AI Website Builder - Soloist


In December the good folks at Mozilla gave us a Google Business Site alternative.I decided to check it out.

It's super-cool. AI builds the first draft of the site and it is incredibly simple to edit.

The Google Business Site Hammer Falls

  If you operate a Google Business website, then you have likely already gotten this message from Google. "Websites made with Google Business Profiles are basic websites powered by the information on your Business Profile. In March 2024, websites made with Google Business Profiles will be turned off and customers visiting your site will be redirected to your Business Profile instead. The redirect will work until June 10, 2024." This is a bummer. A whole lot of local businesses are going to be scrambling for another option. Were "bad actors" abusing these sites? No doubt.
